For several year, Crown Princess Mary has been patron for the champaign "Turn down the sun". In Danish known as "Skru Ned For Solen". It is a TrygFonden project. She attended the opening at the Experimentarium in Hellerup (here).

I was thrilled to see how much time she took meeting the Danes that showed up at her arrival to get a glimpse of her. Maybe shakes hands and shared a few words with the future Queen of Denmark. It was wonderful.

Even though we have seen her wear both jacket and skirt before (also combined), Mary dazzled one more time. She just knows how to dress and reuse her outfits. She shows how beautifully you can make any everyday outfit the most stylish and beautiful look. Her stunning white pencil skirt is an old one from a Strenesse 2007 collection. The MaxMara zip-up jacket is also an old goodie from her wardrobe. She first wore it around the time of the couple's wedding.

Mary embraced her outfit with an outstanding daisy brooch. It is a Georg Jensen design. Did you know that Queen Margrethe is known as "Daisy" among family and friends? She also wore fine diamond earrings shaped as stars. I still need to identify them. Any ideas?

I really love that she chose burgundy Prada pumps and a matching RIKA clutch. Impressive color-combo. But I truly just adore all shades of burgundy. The warmth and depth of the color is wonderful. Perfect with the rest of her outfit!
